We want to let everyone know that here in the next couple of weeks The Doo House Inc. will be offering a new online payment method. We have been looking at switching for quite sometime. We have had numerous request to switch because many clients say they do not have a Pay Pal account. The new method will be a merchant account where all you have to do is have a credit card. We hope this will simplify online payments for everyone. We will post more about the change as soon as we have completely converted to our new payment system.

Here I sit late on a Saturday evening waiting to spring ahead one hour. I look and realize I have not posted on the blog since October. So here I go with some random thoughts, late at night, while I am extremely tired. They may not all make sense but hey thanks for reading anyway. 

 1. With spring on the way your dogs will spend a lot more time outside. Be sure they have a safe place to get out of the rain and that they always have water. We may live in Wyoming but it can still get hot. Mans best friend is loyal to you so give him that same loyalty in return.

2. Richard Sherman is now a 49er, yes I do not care either but the thought came to my brain.

3. I am a Virginia fan for college basketball have been for well over 30 years and I am happy to say they are ACC Champions. 

4. It seems like new pet waste removal companies are popping up every day. Many think this is a get rich quick business, let me be honest it is not. I have been in it fir over 8 years and I am still not rich so be sure to research the pet waste removal company you are using before you give them any money. I will list some questions below that you should ask anyone who wants to clean up after your best friend.

           A. How long have you been in business? Make sure they have a good history and do not be afraid to ask for referral, if they say no show them the door.

           B. Do you sanitize your tools between jobs? If the answer is NO then do not let them clean up after your dog. Disease is easily spread and even if tools do not look clean, if they have been sanitized (with a bleach water solution) you are good to go. Some companies will say we use a clean bag after every job. This is not good enough because  the tools are still touching another dogs poop and you as a dog owner does not know what disease some other dog has. 

              C. Are you fully insured? This is a BIG one. If they are not insured what happens when they let your dog out of the yard or they spread a disease that hurts or even worse kills your dog? You must insist that any company you use is fully insured. You do not want anything to happen to your pet but if an accident does happen you want to make sure the company you use can cover the problem they caused. If they do not have insurance then again show them the door. Insurance is not to protect a business it is there to protect YOU, the consumer.

5. I am sitting here watching the Big West Basketball Tournament at about 11:40 p.m. Yes I am a huge sports fan and watch sports often, even if it is game that means nothing to me with teams I could care less about.

We have not answered any questions in over a year so we thought now would be a good time.  We answered one of the questions a year ago but we thought we should answer it again. 

​Does The Doo House Inc. do automatic billing?
 
The Doo House Inc. (TDHI) does not do automatic billing.  We do not want companies taking money from our bank account so we will not take it from our client’s bank accounts.  We at TDHI have also heard to many stories of other companies double dipping in a client’s account and if we are not taking money out of your account then you do not never need to worry about that happening.  If you have service with TDHI you control how much you pay when your bill is due.
 
Does TDHI offer lower rates if we sign up long term?
 
TDHI was the original company to offer a long-term agreement but after years of using those agreements we no longer offer them.  TDHI offers a low-price guarantee so no long-term agreements are needed when you start service with us.
 
Does TDHI service outside the city limits of Laramie and Cheyenne?
 
Yes, TDHI covers more of Wyoming than any other scooper in the state.  If you live let’s say east of Cheyenne or west of Laramie or anywhere else outside those city limits give us a call and see what services we can offer you.

Do you service out in Laramie and Albany County (outside of the cities of Cheyenne and Laramie)? 

The simple answer is yes TDHI does service in Albany and Laramie Counties, give us a call for details. Anything over 15 miles outside of Laramie or Cheyenne we have a seperate service plan.

Why did TDHI get rid of long term discounts?

At the start of 2016 we did eliminate the long term agreements. We did this to simplify things for our clients and for us. Our prices are still cheaper today than they were six years ago when we opened our doors. We also still have a low price guarantee and if you switch from another service provider we still will wave the initial charge ad guarantee you a lower price.
