Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I hire The Doo House Inc.?
There are many reasons to hire The Doo House Inc. One of the most common is that though pets are members of a family, their waste is not. Most people do not like cleaning up after their pet, and that is where we come in. Pet waste not only can spread disease, but it can also make a yard unpleasant for kids to play in or for families to just spend time together. As our slogan says, We Doo The Doo… That You Don’t Want To Doo.
Who uses a pet waste removal service?
Simple answer, everyone. Single parents, professionals, working parents, senior citizens, and people who simply do not have the time to remove the Doo.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
No, all that will be signed is a general agreement stating the service you want; this can be cancelled anytime after the first four weeks with no penalty to you.
What do you charge?
You can get a general idea of price by visiting our http://www.thedoohouse.info/servicesrates.html. Base prices are based on a ¼ acre of land or less. There are no hidden charges based on the amount of doo doo scooped.
Where do you leave the waste?
We will haul it away.
Do I have to be home when you clean my yard?
No, you do not have to be home; we do have to meet all clients before we do any cleaning, though.
Do I have to have my pet locked away while you clean my yard?
We say yes because that is the best way to get the job done, and it is also the safest way, but after your dog gets to know us (friendly dogs) and we get to know him/her, it is usually not a problem to let them run.
Do you work in bad weather?
As long as we can pick up Doo and travel to and from a job safely, we will do our best to do our job for you in any weather. We will close for fresh snow, extreme cold, lightning, and extreme wind. If the temperature is at zero (0) or below, with natural or with wind chill, we will not service yards that day.
How do I skip a scheduled service?
Kindly give 24 hours' notice if you need us to skip a service. We will skip that service, and per your agreement, we will start service again on your next scheduled service. You will be charged for skipped services unless an agreement has been worked out beforehand.
How will I be billed for service?
Payment is due at the time of service, or it can be prepaid. We accept cash, checks, and Venmo for payment.
