Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I hire The
Doo House?
There are many reasons to hire The Doo House. One of the most common is all though pets are members of a family their waste is not. Most people do not like cleaning up after their pet and that is where we come in. Pet waste not only can spread disease but I can make a yard unpleasant for kids to play of for families to just spend time together. As our slogan says, We Doo The Doo… That You Don’t Want To Doo.
Who uses a pet waste
removal service?
Simple answer, everyone. Single parents, professionals, working parents, senior citizens and people who just simply do not have the time to remove the Doo.
Do I have to sign a
long term contract?
No, all that will be signed is a general agreement stating the service you want, this can be cancelled anytime with no penalty to you. We do have long term contracts though that will save you money.
What do you charge?
You can get a general idea of price by visiting our rates page. Base prices are based on a ¼ acre of land or less. There are no hidden charges based on amount of doo doo scooped.
Where do you leave
the waste?
We normally leave it in a trash receptacle that the customer chooses at their house but we will haul it away also.
Do I have to be home
when you clean my yard?
No you do not have to be home, we do have to meet all clients before we do any cleaning though.
Do I have to have my
pet locked away while you clean my yard?
We say yes as that is the best way to get the job done and it is also the safest way, but after your dog gets to know us (friendly dogs) and we get to know him/her it is usually not a problem to let them run.
Do you work in bad
weather?
As long as we can pick up Doo and travel to and from a job safely we will do our best to do our job for you in any weather.
How do I skip a
scheduled service?
Kindly give 24 hours notice if you need us to skip a service. We will skip that service, you will not be charged and we will start again at your next scheduled service. This is limited to one skipped service a month.
